Greenwood Water Corporation was founded in 1982 by Paul Wilhite.  For over 33 years the company has been providing residential and commercial water to Greenwood residents and businesses.

On June 18, 2015, the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) approved the sale and transfer of stock to Permian Basin Water Resources, LLC.  The sale was consummated on June 22, 2015.  

Permian Basin is a diverse group of experienced utility and real estate professionals based in the southwest United States, with local holdings in the Midland/Greenwood area.  

Greenwood Water Corporation will continue to serve its loyal customers and look to expand water and wastewater solutions to the Greenwood market.
